Edith Cocktail Bar
Project Rationale
The Edith project holds a special place as a continuation of our collaboration with a valued client,who previously used us for branding and website work with their non-profit. Tasked with establishing the branding and logo for Edith, a downtown Milwaukee cocktail bar, the inspiration sparked from the client's reference to Giovanni Strazza's masterpiece, The Veiled Virgin, and floral-drawn letters. This prompted the creation of a unique Victorian-style, hand-lettered typeface, exclusively crafted for the "Edith" logo, featuring a captivating E adorned with hand-crafted flourishes. This distinctive typeface not only sets Edith apart but also serves as the cornerstone for a cohesive visual narrative, extending seamlessly into the website, menu design, and social media content, all created by me.
